Explorer's Run 4 Fun!

Calling all Explorers!
There is still time to register for the PTA Run 4 Fun Kids' 1/2 mile or 5k Run/Walk! Early registrants guaranteed a reusable bag with freebies from local vendors. You are able to show up and register on race day, but bags will be given out first come, first serve!

Join us for after school fun during No Screen Week

No Screen Week is April 16-20. It's a great way to rest our eyes from all those electronics and reconnect with our families, friends and school. The PTA and Chloe Clark Staff will be offering fun activities every day of the week:

Monday-- School Clean Up 3:45pm
Tuesday -- Art Club 6:30pm
Wednesday -- Science Night 6:30pm
Thursday -- Math Night 6:30pm
Friday -- Fun Bike Ride / Chloe Family Night at Farelli's 5:00pm

Seeking Treasurer for 2012-2013

Our PTA Nominating Committee is seeking a volunteer to fill the role of Treasurer for the 2012-2013 school year.
The Treasurer is an integral part of the PTA Executive Board, with responsibilities that include:

-- Reconciling the monthly bank statement
-- Writing checks for expenses
-- Providing a monthly income and expense report to the board

If you have a background in bookkeeping, or know someone who would be a good fit for this position, please email your nomination to Lori Hunter: nomcom@chloeclarkpta.com. The committee is accepting nominations until March 2nd.

Amazing Volunteers!

We truly have so many wonderful volunteers at Chloe that it's difficult to name all of you. In the month of October we asked for a number of volunteers for two programs - Vision and Hearing Screening and Staff Appreciation lunches. We'd like to thank those volunteers specifically for their help. Vision & Hearing Volunteers Needed

The PTA is still in need of volunteers for the Vision and Hearing Screening happening October 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th at Chloe Clark. Our goal is to have at least a minimum of 4 volunteers per time slot. All volunteers will receive training Below are the following times we need volunteers:
-- Monday (10/3) 9:15 am - 12:30pm
-- Tuesday (10/4) 9:15 am - 12:30 pm
-- Wednesday (10/5) 9:15 am - 12:00pm or 1:00pm - 2:30 pm
-- Friday (10/7) 1:40pm - 3:30pm

PTA Fall Fundraising Campaign

Our annual "No Sale"/Donations-Only Fall Fundraising Campaign is here! Please consider sending a donation to the Chloe Clark PTA to support the many enriching and family-fun activities we create each year. We have set up a convenient online PayPal system so grandparents and other family and friends can help support your child's school. PTA General Membership Mtg. 9/20

All parents interested in joining the PTA -- or just learning more about who we are! -- are welcome to our first General Membership Meeting of the school year at 9:45am in the Community Room. Join us for coffee and breakfast treats while we elect our 2011-2012 Nominating Committee and discuss other PTA business. (Younger siblings may attend, however childcare is not provided.)

Back to School Night, Sept. 7th @ 7pm

Students and their families are welcome to visit the school on WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 7TH at 7pm to talk with teachers and tour the school.

Summer Incoming Kindergarten Playdates

Do you have a child entering Kindergarten at Chloe Clark in the 2011-2012 school year? You are invited to attend one (or both!) of the PTA's Incoming Kindergarten Playdates this summer at Powderworks Park -- Wed. July 27th at 1pm and again on Sat. Aug. 27th at 10am. Hope to see you there!
